It’s been a landmark year for the folks at Compa, and today is no exception. We’re thrilled to announce that Compa was named one of WorkTech’s Companies to Watch for 2023.

Every year, WorkTech, a market analyst and advisory firm, compiles a shortlist of select business, HR, and talent leaders that demonstrate innovation in “work tech,” an emerging category where workplace inclusion and employee-first design intersect.

To determine its finalists, WorkTech examined various technologies’ performance against six core themes, which included a commitment to data, experience-driven design, and ability to scale. Only 20 organizations, including Compa, met or exceeded WorkTech’s criteria for innovation.

“With how rapidly the tech sector changes, compensation data needs to be current,” said George LaRocque, Founder and Chief Analyst at WorkTech. “Nobody knows this better than Compa, whose compensation data tool, Compa Index, collects offer data from applicant tracking systems to provide the most real-time view of the market—something you simply can’t get with traditional methods.”

This recognition further cements Compa as a leader in the new era of compensation market data. Since its official launch two months ago, Compa Index has helped over 40 of the world’s best tech companies use offers to study trends, navigate market shifts, and make breakthrough compensation decisions. We are grateful and humbled to be acknowledged among some of the brightest names in work tech this year.

Compa co-founder and CEO, Charlie Franklin, commented, “The response has been amazing. Comp leaders at companies like NVIDIA, Workday, and Instacart instantly grasped the potential of offers-based market data—and word spread quickly. WorkTech’s recognition brings us one step closer to our mission, which is to make compensation fair and competitive for everyone.”
